This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) is provided to help you understand how we collect, use, and safeguard the personal information that you share with us through the Platform.

We may update this Policy at any time, so you should periodically review this Policy for changes. Any new version of this Policy will be posted here and will include an updated revision date. Changes will become effective immediately once they are posted here but they will not apply retroactively.

“Personal information” is information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.

We will collect your name and email address when you sign up for an account on the Platform.

There may be other times where we need different or additional personal information to complete tasks or services. In some cases, if you choose to not provide us with the requested personal information, you may not be able to use our services or functionality of our services may be limited.

Personal information doesn’t include the information that we automatically record from your computer or mobile device when you visit the Platform. Your personal information might be included in the files and documents that our government subscribers upload to the Platform. We do not control or limit the personal information that our government subscribers may request from you and we do not make decisions regarding how that personal information is used. You will need to reach out directly to the government subscriber to account for any additional personal information they request from you.

We use encryption at rest and in transit to secure your personal information. We will retain your personal information only as long as necessary for us to provide the requested service to you. Any email we send for marketing or newsletter purposes will have an unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email. Click that link if you don’t want to receive emails like those from us and we will take you off the mailing list. This won’t affect our ability to send you service communications about the Platform because of our legal obligations.

We don’t place cookies or other tracking technologies on the Platform for external marketing or advertising purposes and we don’t allow third parties to send you marketing or advertising cookies through the Platform either.

We do place cookies on the Platform that help make the Platform usable and that enable core functionality and features in the Platform. The Platform cannot function properly without these cookies. We also use preference cookies to help the Platform remember your preferences for how the Platform looks, how the Platform behaves, and to store your login information. We also use Google Analytics to understand how you’re using the Platform.

The Platform is not for children

The Platform is not for children under the age of 18. Please don’t let your kids send us their personal information. Email us at with “COPPA Request” in the subject line if you believe your child has inadvertently sent us their personal information.

This is not the same as a child’s personal information being included in files or documents that our subscribers store in the Platform. You must contact the subscriber directly to account for personal information that they have about your child and provided to us.

Third party websites

We might include links on the Platform to other websites that we don’t own. We don’t control those websites or their privacy practices so you should read their privacy policies before you share your personal information with them so that you understand how those websites collect, use, and share your personal information. We are not responsible for any third party’s privacy policy or practices even if we provide a link to their website.
